Abstract:
The HMC340LP5 & HMC340LP5E are doublebalanceddual mixers covering 1.7 - 4.5 GHz RF/LOrange. This passive MMIC mixer is constructed of GaAsSchottky diodes and on-chip baluns. The device canbe used as an upconverter, downconverter, biphase(de)modulator, or phase comparator. The mixer symmetryof the HMC340LP5 & HMC340LP5E make it anideal candidate for single sideband or image rejectionapplications. The consistent MMIC performance willimprove system operation and assure regulatorycompliance. A low cost, leadless 5x5 mm QFN surfacemount package (LP5) houses the dual MMIC mixer IC.
