Abstract:
Modern high-performance radio/microwave communicationssystems utilize digital baseband signal processing (coupled withcomplex up/down conversion), where very little of the signalprocessing is performed in the analog/RF domain. Such signalprocessing includes filtering, phase/frequency de-rotation,channel equalization, pulse shaping, and modulation/demodulation.
