Abstract:

The Micrel MIC284 Evaluation Board and DemoWare Software demonstrate the operation and features of the MIC284 Two-Zone Thermal Supervisor. The MIC284 is a versatile digital thermal supervisor capable of measuring temperature using its internal sensor and an inexpensive external sensor or embedded silicon diode such as those found in higher performance CPUs and FPGAs. This manual describes how to use the evaluation board and the companion software.
