Abstract:

This document compares the Ethernet controllers of Freescale DSP devices based on StarCoreTM technology. Specifically, it examines the differences and similarities between the Ethernet controllers of three product platforms: MSC7113/MSC7116 devices (MSC711x platform), MSC8101/MSC8103 devices (MSC810x platform), MSC8122/MSC8126 devices (MSC812x platform), These three platforms target different tier applications.
