The MIC2810 is a high performance power management IC, integrating a 2MHz DC/DC switcher with two 300mA LDOs. The MIC2810 features a LOWQ® mode, reducing the total current draw while in this mode to less than 30?A. In LOWQ® mode, the output noise of the DC/DC converter is 53?VRMS, significantly lower than other converters that use a PFM light load mode that can interfere with sensitive RF circuitry.

Built-in bias resistors enable the configuration of an inverter circuit without connecting external input resistors (see equivalent circuit). The bias resistors consist of thin-film resistors with complete isolation to allow positive biasing of the input. They also have the advantage of almost completely eliminating parasitic effects. Only the on/off conditions need to be set for operation, making the device design easy.
