DESCRIPTIONThe ZLNB101 dual polarisation switchcontroller is one of a wide range of satellitereceiver LNB support circuits. It features twocompletely independent channels, eachcontrol of a voltage sensitive input. It isintended for use in Twin LNB designs,replacing many dIscrete components to saveboth manufacturing cost and PCB size whilstimproving reliability.The two inputs of the ZLNB101 have anominal threshold of 14.5V. Their thresholdis temperature compensated to minimisecurrent that enables transient protection tobe achieved with the addition of only a singleresistor per channel. Normal and an inverted outputs areprovided for each input. All outputs cansource 15mA and sink 10mA making themsuitable to drive TTL and CMOS logic, pindiodes and for IF-amp supply switching.The ZLNB101 operates from a single supplyof between 5-12V. Its quiescent current istypically only 4mA and this does not changesignificantly with load or logic state. It isavailable in either the standard SO8 or spaces features twocompletely independent channels, eachcontrol of a voltage sensitive input.
