It supports data rates from 9.953 Gbps to 11.1 Gbps with transmit ranges up to 40 km.The transceiver consists of two sections: transmitter and receiver. The transmitter section uses a 1550 nm cooled EML, driver, and retimer. The receiver section consists of a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preampli er (TIA) and CDR.The module is hot-pluggable into a 30-pin XFI connector. The high-speed electrical interface is based on low voltage logic with nominal 100 Ohms di erential impedance and AC coupling in the module. The optical output may be disabled with the LVTTL logic high-level input of TX_DIS. Loss of signal (RX_LOS) output indicates the loss of an optical input signal.
